However, as our company has grown in size and numbers of employees, the day to day running has become increasingly time consuming. Following a recommendation from our Insurance Broker, we made contact with Chris Owen from Optimum Safety Management in Lincoln. Chris and Megan have been fantastic. Chris undertook a review of all the paperwork and procedures that we already had in place, along with a site inspection/audit. His report then detailed the areas where we needed to improve or provide new procedures/processes. Chris & Megan then worked with us to make those changes, provided templates for inspections/training records, updated our H&S policy and also revised all of our Risk Assessments into one manageable format. Chris was also able to put us in touch with other external specialists where the need arose – such as for Fire Safety management and Asbestos management.

We have now enlisted the services of Optimum Safety Management on an annual retainer, so in addition to the initial works, we now have them at the end of the phone whenever we may need them for assistance with Health & Safety, and also to deliver on-site training for our staff. I would certainly recommend Optimum Safety Management. They have listened and worked to the needs of our individual business, have provided excellent documentation, are always keen to assist when we make contact and also, provide their services for a reasonable charge.
